Jim Conde

Mr. Conde is a founder and principal shareholder of Newcourse Communications, Inc. Prior to starting Newcourse in 2005, he was employed with Check Printers, Inc., an RR Donnelley Company since 1988. There, he led the group's sales, marketing, and strategic development areas. In 1992, Mr. Conde was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing and in 1997, to Executive Vice President of the company. Before joining Check Printers, he worked in Sales and Data Processing at Rand McNally. Mr. Conde has earned a Bachelor of Science and an MBA in Finance. He has been associated with the Mortgage and Finance industries for over 21 years, serving as Chairman of the Fidelity Data Interchange Board.

Todd burke

President & CFO

Todd burke

As of April 12, 2015, Todd Burke became the President & CFO of Newcourse Communications, Inc. Mr. Burke joined Newcourse Communications, Inc. in 2014 as Executive Vice President responsible for Accounting, Human Resources, and Plant Operations. Prior to his current role, he was an Executive Vice President and a Board Member with CheckVelocity, Inc from 2004 to 2014. CheckVelocity is an electronic payment processing company. He served two positions in his tenure, President, and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Burke’s previous 18 years were in the electronic credit card, medical eligibility and claims processing industries. He was Executive Vice President with Medifax EDI, Inc. He was responsible for Sales, Marketing, and Client services. Mr. Burke also served various high-level positions at PMT Services. He was responsible for acquisitions, conversions, and platform services. Mr. Burke has more than 28 years of management and P&L experience. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and Business Administration from Belmont University.

ron boufford

In June 2008, Mr. Boufford joined Newcourse to find business partners for the company in the Mortgage industry. Previously, he spent 13 years with Fidelity National Financial Family of Companies, selling their suite of products and services. Mr. Boufford has been involved in the Mortgage Banking & Title Insurance industries for over 10 years. He holds a Business Administration degree from California State University.

Brett Bennett

EVP Strategy and Overnight

Brett Bennett

In March 2016, Brett Bennett joined Newcourse Communications, Inc. as Vice President of Client Relations. Brett graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Arts and Science. He has 20 plus years of direct mortgage servicing experience where he served as the Vice President of Default Management and Vice President of Escrow Administration. He has managed a portfolio of over 300,000 mortgage loans from various insurers and investors. Brett has supervised and managed mortgage servicing staff in all areas of mortgage servicing. He also has 12 years of experience as a vendor in the lender placed insurance and tax servicing arenas.

Ms. Akers joined Newcourse Communications, Inc. in October of 2017. She has been in the mortgage servicing industry for more than 20 years with her primary focus being escrow processing within the mortgage servicing space. She has worked for various mortgage industry vendors and mortgage servicing companies throughout the years. In 2015, she was the recipient of the Servicing Operational Excellence award and Top Performer award with a prior employer. In her current role, she provides industry experience and compliance expertise in both mortgage servicing and financial management. She oversees compliance of our clients’ billing statements, letters,  escrow analysis, regulatory updates and Newcourse policies and procedures. She obtained her AMP (Accredited Mortgage Professional) certification through the MBA (Mortgage Bankers Association). She is currently working on obtaining her CMCP (Certified Mortgage Compliance Professional) certification through the MBA (Mortgage Bankers Association).

Plant Manager

Mr. Pollock has been with Newcourse Communications, Inc. for 10 years and is currently the Production Manager. He graduated Oregon State University with a B.S. in Mathematics. Upon completion of his studies he spent some time in the music industry until starting a family here in Nashville. He then spent several years in the print and mail services sector.

Mr. Simmons joined Newcourse Communications, Inc. in August 2018 and brings more than 25 years of experience in financing and management. In his previous role, he was the REO Asset Manager for a mortgage servicing company. He was responsible for managing real estate agents nationwide, timelines and cost management throughout the contract negotiations, along with closing procedures and managed real estate invoices through Black Knight. In 2012, he was the recipient of the Pinnacle award while with a prior employer. Today he manages and oversees the Customer Service operations of Newcourse clients, data processing, onboarding and training of the client support team.

Joe harmon

VP, Technology

Joe harmon

Mr. Harmon joined Newcourse Communications, Inc in June of 2020. In his previous role, he was Vice President of Technology and Support and managed the Client Support Department. He was responsible for the company’s cloud offering which included hardware, software, public and private data centers, as well as the design of the ERP systems framework. He has a degree in Business Administration with concentration on Technology and brings years of programming experience to the table. Today, he is responsible for upgrading legacy software to newer technologies, handling network administration, technical systems, and mass distribution of emails and faxes. He also created and manages the design of NcConnect.

Jamie owen

IT Security Manager

Jamie owen

Mr. Owen has 20 years of IT experience with a diverse background in Health Care, Retail and Banking. In previous roles, Mr. Owen managed teams up to 10 associates across multiple states, conducted Disaster Recovery testing, migrated legacy data centers to the cloud, planned and executed new site projects with project management and conducted manual, as well as unattended, Patch management and Operating system updates for entire enterprise.  Today, he oversees NCI’s security operations and infrastructure, testing/training for end users, policy and control audits, cybersecurity, patching, data protection control, penetration testing, creation of framework and roadmap for future enhancements of digital and physical security and assists with internal ticketing system for change management, documenting of SLA’s, Kantech badge access system and the Lorex Security camera system. In addition, he also review’s and assesses client’s existing Security Architecture.

Chris Blohm

Chris Blohm

Mr. Blohm joined Newcourse Communications, Inc. in May of 2023. He comes to Newcourse with 25 years of IT experience, spanning all levels of support and engineering stemming from the Insurance, Private Education and Consumer Electronics industries. He has been a Lead Engineer in 10k+ employee environments for the past 7 years, managing physical and human resources, to drive business infrastructure objectives to a successful outcome. In his current role, he is responsible for all IT Server, Network and Desktop Infrastructure. This consists of managing the computer, storage and communication tiers that run our applications, domain, and private cloud. He is also responsible for application tiers on functional process systems and MFT, along with domain management, file integrity and access security.
